Job Description
Junior to Mid-level Trademark Attorney - Minneapolis
Our client is a major firm, seeking a junior to mid-level associate for the firm's IP practice in Minneapolis. The salary requirement for this position is between $205k to $225k.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in a national trademark practice, including trademark clearance, counseling, prosecution, registration, and maintenance.
- Trademark licensing and trademark enforcement matters preferred, but not required.
- Excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Minnesota bar or ability to become admitted is required.
- All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Kate joined Marina Sirras & Associates in 2011. She is a national legal recruiter, specializing
in the placement of partners, counsel, and associates in all practice areas, including:
- Intellectual Property – lawyers and patent agents (patent prosecution, IP litigation,
trademark, and technology/life sciences transactional roles) - Corporate lawyers (funds, capital markets, M&A, securities, and finance)
- Litigation lawyers (commercial, securities, and arbitration)
Clients include major international law firms, midsized general practice firms, specialty boutique
firms, and corporations. Prior to recruiting, Kate worked as a legal assistant for several law
firms, including Pennie & Edmonds, a former intellectual property firm in New York City. She
earned a B.S. in Human Resource Management.
