Technology and Licensing Associate
Our client is a top firm, seeking associates in JD class year 2022-2023 for its Licensing & Tech Group in Boston. The firm will consider candidates with experience in commercial contracts, venture finance or M&A transactions. The salary range for this role is between $235k to $260k.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience preferably in drafting and negotiate licensing, partnering, and commercial agreements - or - experience in venture financing or M&A transactions.
- Strong interest in working with startup and venture capital clients.
- Technical degree is not required for this role.
- Preference for candidates with large law firm experience.
- Massachusetts admission required.
- Excellent academic credentials as well as strong writing skills.
- All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

trademark, and technology/life sciences transactional roles) - Corporate lawyers (funds, capital markets, M&A, securities, and finance)

firms, and corporations. Prior to recruiting, Kate worked as a legal assistant for several law
firms, including Pennie & Edmonds, a former intellectual property firm in New York City. She
earned a B.S. in Human Resource Management.
