Real Estate Paralegal - New York
Our client, a general practice law firm, is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to join its New York City Office. This position is hybrid in-office and remote.
The estimated salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 (annually) and may vary depending on experience and other factors.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of solid paralegal experience (but would be flexible for the right candidate)
- Experience with residential real estate, and ability to handle residential closings on your own
- Familiarity with commercial real estate and real estate financing a plus, but not required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or paralegal degree
Job Responsibilities:
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, deeds, closing statements, and corporate resolutions
- Attend and conduct residential closings (condos, coops, and single-family houses)
- Conduct title searches and review title reports
- Prepare and file ACRIS forms (transfer tax returns, etc.)
- Prepare and organize closing binders and post-closing documents
- Handle residential closings and contracts independently
