Bookkeeper – Law Firm Experience Preferred (Nassau County Long Island, NY)
A well-established and rapidly growing Long Island law firm is seeking a Bookkeeper to join its New Hyde Park office. This is a full-time, in-office position supporting the firm’s daily financial operations and client billing functions.
About the Role:
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, processing client billing, reconciling trust accounts, and supporting general ledger maintenance. This position plays an essential role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth accounting operations for the firm.
Qualifications:
• 1–3 years of bookkeeping experience (law firm or professional services environment strongly preferred)
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Familiarity with time and billing systems used in legal environments
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Compensation:
• $45,000 – $50,000 annual base salary (commensurate with experience)
