Mid-Level Funds Associate – New York
Our client, a highly-ranked international law firm, is seeking a mid-level Associate to join its Private Equity Fund Formation and Fund Investment practice group in its New York office. This group advises both fund sponsors and institutional investors in structuring, negotiating, and investing in private equity, venture capital, and infrastructure funds and co-investment transactions, as well as fund formation across buy-out, infrastructure, secondary funds, segregated accounts, and sole mandates.
The estimated salary range for this position is $310,000 – $365,000 (annually) and may vary depending on experience and other factors.
Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be admitted to and in good standing with the New York Bar (or willingness to be admitted)
- Minimum 4 years of practice experience working on private equity fund formations and/or investments in private equity funds at a major U.S. or international law firm
- Experience working collaboratively with practice specialists in a large firm environment
- Comfortable servicing clients across a wide range of industries
- Positive attitude, team orientation, and demonstrated work ethic
- Ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong academic credentials required
