Premises Liability Litigation Associate
Our client, a national, mid-sized civil litigation defense firm, is looking for a Litigation Associate to join its Premises Liability Team. The Premises Liability Team handles a diverse range of cases, including the defense of restaurants, retail stores, sports clubs, attractions, theaters, and other types of commercial businesses. The associate will be engaged in all phases of litigation, from case evaluation and discovery to trial presentation.
Location: Los Angeles, Costa Mesa, or San Diego. Remote is an option, but the candidate must be barred in California.
The salary range is $115,000 - $170,000, plus bonus, and a generous benefits package. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors.
Requirements
- 1 year of civil litigation experience
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active membership in the California State Bar and in good standing.
- Prior Law Enforcement and/or Military experience is a plus, but not necessary.
- Criminal defense experience is welcome, but not necessary.
- Exceptional communication and advocacy skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to manage and meet deadlines.
