Litigation Associate - Los Angeles
This is a rare and career defining opportunity to pivot from general "big law" litigation into one of the most sophisticated, high stakes, and sought after specialty practices in the country. The group is led by partners who are consistently recognized by Forbes as "America's Top Lawyers" and by Best Lawyers as "Lawyer of the Year" in their field.
This practice is renowned for handling high stakes company level disputes for an ultra high net worth client base, including public figures, C suite executives, and prominent families. The work is fast paced, intellectually challenging, and involves navigating complex family dynamics with the utmost discretion.
Our client is not looking for experience in a specific niche. They are looking to invest in a brilliant, all around litigator. The ideal candidate has:
- 4-6 years of strong, foundational experience in complex commercial litigation from an AmLaw 100 firm or a top-tier litigation boutique.
- A "go-to" associate who is considered a strong writer, an articulate advocate, and a "solid overall litigator."
- Excellent academic credentials from a T14 or equivalent top-tier law school.
- A genuine desire to specialize and build a reputation in a high-impact, high-reward field.
- The maturity and emotional intelligence to handle sensitive, "emotionally fraught" matters.
