Litigation Associate - Austin
Our client, an Am Law 100 law firm, is seeking an Associate to join their Litigation Practice in Austin, Texas.
Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of litigation experience
- Experience working on a variety of complex commercial and business litigation matters including antitrust, construction, product liability, real estate, financial services, energy, and other areas
- Strong familiarity with applicable federal, state and local rules
- Experience with taking depositions, briefing and arguing dispositive and discovery motions, and interfacing with clients and opposing counsel
- Mediation, arbitration, and trial experience is a plus
- Strong motivation and outstanding interpersonal skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Ability to work independently to manage a myriad of deadlines and thrive in a team environment
- JD from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
- Admitted to the Texas State Bar
