Job Description
Labor & Employment Associate - New York
Our client, an Am Law 100 law firm, is seeking an attorney with 4-5 years of experience to join its Labor & Employment Group in their New York City office.
The estimated salary range for this position is $220,000 - $265,000 (annually) and may vary depending on experience and other factors.
Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of experience in Employment law
- Experience representing employers in federal and state courts, arbitration proceedings, and before government agencies
- Traditional labor experience is a plus.
- Preferred Experience Includes: Advising employers on a wide range of employment law matters including: Discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims; Wage and hour compliance and disputes, including class and collective actions; Compliance with the FMLA, ADA, and other federal, state, and local leave laws; Breach of contract and whistleblower claims; Enforcement and defense of noncompete and non-solicitation agreements
- Excellent writing and oral advocacy skills
- JD from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
- Admitted to the New York Bar (and in good standing)
