Job Description
Mid to Senior Level IP litigation Associate - New York or Chicago
Our client is a major international firm, seeking an IP Litigation Associate with 4-7 years of experience for its New York or Chicago offices. The firm is also considering candidates with strong federal court commercial litigation experience who are interested in an IP litigation practice. The salary for this position is between $310k to $420k.
Qualifications
- 4-7 years of law firm experience, handling all phases of litigation, from pre-litigation counseling through discovery and trial.
- Experience with all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, managing discovery [including large e-discovery projects], taking and defending depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Excellent research, writing and analytical skills.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Admission to the New York or Illinois bars, or ability to become admitted.
- All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Additional Information
This position involves IP litigation matters including trademark, copyright, trade secrets, and patent disputes. While IP litigation experience is preferred, the firm is also considering strong federal court commercial litigators who have an interest in focusing on IP litigation.
