Trademark Partner
Our client is a top regional firm, seeking a Trademark Partner for its offices in New York, Northern NJ, Rochester, Buffalo, and Albany. Some portable business is preferred, but not required. This position is not open to remote candidates. The salary is between $175k to $450k.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of substantial experience in IP law, including trademark prosecution, clearance searches, management of international trademark portfolios, trademark enforcement and anti-counterfeiting.
- Experience with licensing and other IP transactional agreements.
- Litigation experience before federal courts and the TTAB.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Excellent writing, verbal, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Kate joined Marina Sirras & Associates in 2011. She is a national legal recruiter, specializing
in the placement of partners, counsel, and associates in all practice areas, including:
- Intellectual Property – lawyers and patent agents (patent prosecution, IP litigation,
trademark, and technology/life sciences transactional roles) - Corporate lawyers (funds, capital markets, M&A, securities, and finance)

Clients include major international law firms, midsized general practice firms, specialty boutique
firms, and corporations. Prior to recruiting, Kate worked as a legal assistant for several law
firms, including Pennie & Edmonds, a former intellectual property firm in New York City. She
earned a B.S. in Human Resource Management.
