Healthcare Regulatory & Enforcement Associate
Our client, a top AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a mid-level Healthcare Regulatory and Enforcement Associate to join its nationally recognized healthcare practice in the Nashville office. This role advises healthcare clients on day-to-day operational and regulatory matters, including provider and facility licensing, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, and compliance with complex federal and state healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience counseling clients on the federal Stark Law, federal and state anti-kickback statutes, and other healthcare fraud and abuse laws, as well as assisting with regulatory risk assessment and enforcement matters.
The estimated salary range for this position may vary depending on experience and other factors.
Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be licensed or eligible to become licensed to practice law in Tennessee
- 3–6 years of healthcare regulatory experience at a reputable law firm
- Experience with facility licensing, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, and fraud, waste, and abuse compliance
- Experience with the Stark Law, anti-kickback statutes, and healthcare fraud and abuse laws
- Experience with healthcare privacy and the regulatory aspects of healthcare M&A is strongly preferred
- Strong writing skills, close attention to detail, and excellent drafting skills required
- Candidates must reside in the Nashville, TN area at or prior to time of hire
- Strong academic credentials required
