Labor & Employment Associate
Our client, a top AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate with 3–4 years of experience to join its New York office. The ideal candidate will handle employment litigation matters including conducting discovery, drafting and arguing motions in federal and state courts, and advising employer clients on all aspects of employment law including wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and ERISA.
The estimated salary range for this position is $260,000 – $310,000 (annually) and may vary depending on experience and other factors.
Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be admitted to and in good standing with the New York Bar
- 3–4 years of employment litigation experience at a large law firm
- Experience conducting discovery (including e-discovery), drafting motions, and taking and defending depositions
- Experience advising employer clients on employment counseling matters
- Knowledge of wage and hour, class and collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination matters
- Outstanding academic credentials and stellar written and oral communication skills required
