Compensation & Benefits Associate
Our client, a top AmLaw 50 firm, is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Associate to join its Compensation & Benefits Practice Group in the New York office. This role focuses on advising clients on executive compensation and employee benefits matters, with a particular emphasis on corporate transactions.
The estimated salary range for this position is $260,000 – $365,000 (annually) and may vary depending on experience and other factors.
Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be admitted to and in good standing with the New York Bar
- 3–5 years of experience advising clients on executive compensation and employee benefits matters
- Relevant tax and ERISA experience required
- Experience with executive compensation in connection with corporate transactions required
- Familiarity with Section 409A, Section 162(m), Section 280G, and executive compensation disclosure rules is a plus
- Strong academic credentials required
