Executive Compensation Associate Attorney
Our client, a top global Am Law firm, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced associate attorney to join its Executive Compensation team in New York or Houston. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge executive compensation matters, including designing, structuring, and implementing equity-based compensation alternatives, as well as advising on employment, retention, and separation agreements. The ideal candidate will bring strong public and private M&A experience and a genuine interest in the subject area.
The estimated salary range for this position is $310,000 – $390,000 (annually) and may vary depending on experience and other factors.
Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Admitted to (or eligible to waive into) the New York or Texas Bar and in good standing
- Minimum 3–5 years of executive compensation experience, including equity-based compensation design and structuring
- Expertise in employment, retention, and separation agreements
- Strong public and private M&A experience
- J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school with high academic achievement
- Prior experience at a peer law firm preferred
- Entrepreneurial mindset and team-player attitude
