Job Description
Mid to Senior level Entertainment Associate
Our client is a major international firm, seeking an associate for its premier Entertainment and Media transactions practice in Los Angeles. The salary range for this position is between $310,000 to $435,000.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in entertainment law, including film and television studios, streaming platforms, independent media companies, financial institutions, funds and major talent.
- Experience handling M&A transactions, debt and equity financing transactions, licensing and sponsorship, and strategic content arrangements.
- Outstanding academic credentials and law firm experience are required.
- California bar admission.
- All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

in the placement of partners, counsel, and associates in all practice areas, including:
- Intellectual Property – lawyers and patent agents (patent prosecution, IP litigation,
trademark, and technology/life sciences transactional roles) - Corporate lawyers (funds, capital markets, M&A, securities, and finance)
- Litigation lawyers (commercial, securities, and arbitration)
Clients include major international law firms, midsized general practice firms, specialty boutique
firms, and corporations. Prior to recruiting, Kate worked as a legal assistant for several law
firms, including Pennie & Edmonds, a former intellectual property firm in New York City. She
earned a B.S. in Human Resource Management.
