Employment Litigation & Counseling Attorney - Los Angeles
Our client, an Am Law 200 law firm, is seeking an associate with 1-4 years of experience to join their team in Los Angeles, California. The position will focus mostly on litigation and associated counseling.
The estimated salary range for this position is $225,000 - $310,000 (annually) and may vary depending on experience and other factors.
Qualifications:
- 1 - 4 years of experience with employment litigation and advice and counseling
- Familiarity and experience with employment litigation (including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination suits) and wage and hour litigation are essential
- Familiarity and experience with employment counseling (including the construction of employment policies and manuals, counseling regarding employee discipline and termination, and wage and hour counseling) are very helpful, but only limited experience in these areas is required
- Class action and/or PAGA experience would be very helpful but is not required
- Familiarity with California civil procedure is also helpful
- Strong references, and proven litigation and writing skills
- JD from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials (the firm seeks candidates who were ranked high in their class at top tier law schools)
- Admitted to the California state bar
