Corporate Life Sciences Licensing & Transactions Associate - San Diego
Our client is a major Am law firm, seeking a mid-level associate for its Strategic Transactions & Licensing group in San Diego. This position is regularly in office. The salary is between $235k to $310k, depending on experience and other factors.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience drafting and negotiating a strategic partnership and licensing agreements for life science companies [life science experience is strongly preferred].
- Experience advising start-ups and emerging companies on due diligence for licensing and transactional IP matters is preferred.
- Large law firm or sophisticated boutique experience preferred.
- Technical or science degree is not required.
- Excellent client-interfacing and relationship building skills.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Strong writing, verbal, and analytical skills; team focused.
- California bar admission is required.
- All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

firms, including Pennie & Edmonds, a former intellectual property firm in New York City. She
earned a B.S. in Human Resource Management.
