Job Description
Mid to Senior Corporate M&A Associates - New York
Our client is a major Am law 100 law firm, seeking mid to senior level Corporate M&A associates within JD years 2017-2021 for its New York office. The salary for this position ranges between $225,000 - $435,000.
Qualifications
- 4-8 years of excellent corporate M&A experience within a law firm or in-house.
- Experience negotiating critical points of a deal with opposing counsel.
- Experience supporting and leading various aspects of complex corporate transactions, including M&A, dispositions, and joint ventures.
- Experience reviewing Purchase Agreements and creating an Issues List.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills; team focused.
- New York bar is required.
- All candidates must be authorized to work in the US.

firms, and corporations. Prior to recruiting, Kate worked as a legal assistant for several law
firms, including Pennie & Edmonds, a former intellectual property firm in New York City. She
earned a B.S. in Human Resource Management.
