Capital Markets Associate or Counsel - New York
Our client is a major Am law 100 firm, seeking an associate or counsel level capital markets lawyer with at least 5 years of experience for its Corporate Finance and Capital Markets practice in New York .The salary for this position starts at $365k+.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience representing issuers, underwriters and placement agents in public offerings, private placements and other securities offerings.
- Experience with compliance and reporting under the 1933 Act and 1934 Act.
- Experience representing business development companies (BDCs) and other types of 1940 Act funds is a plus.
- Experience as a key member of deal teams, running key aspects of transactions from due diligence through closing is ideal.
- Large law firm experience is preferred.
- All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
