Trademark Attorney - Chicago
Our client is a top firm, seeking a trademark attorney with at least 5 years of experience in Chicago. The salary for this position ranges between $250k to $280k.
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of trademark law experience, including trademark preparation and prosecution, counseling clients, and performing trademark searches and clearance opinions.
- Trademark portfolio management - domestic and international.
- Trademark enforcement/litigation experience [anti-counterfeiting a plus].
- Experience handling domain name disputes.
- Experience counseling and handling disputes in advertising, contests, promotions and sweepstakes.
- Experience with copyright issues including protection and enforcement.
- USPTO trademark examiner experience would be a plus.
- Illinois bar admission or ability to become admitted [via waiver or taking the bar].
- Strong academic credentials.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and organizational skills.
