Technology Transactions Associate Attorney
Our client is a major Am law firm, seeking a mid-level associate for its leading Technology & Outsourcing Practice Practice in Charlotte. The salary is between $250k to $345k.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience technology transactions [either in-house or law firm], including IP licensing.
- Experience handling business process outsourcing deals, and negotiating complex technology agreements including SaaS, licensing, hardware and maintenance, distribution, global purchase, professional services and marketing agreements.
- Experience advising clients on licensing, distribution agreements, and issues related to AI, privacy and information security.
- Ability to provide expertise in technology aspects of mergers and acquisitions and counsel on emerging trends and issues in the tech, financial, telecommunications, healthcare and life sciences sectors.
- Experience with M&A and corporate transactions, in particular within the technology sector.
- Strong academic credentials with excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- State bar admission in jurisdiction of practice or ability to take next bar exam.
