Junior Technology Transactions Attorney - Nationwide Offices
Our client is a major Am law 100 firm, seeking a junior level associate for its global Technology Transactions team in Boston, Atlanta, Chicago, and Dallas, as well as other nationwide locations. The salary range for this position is between $235k to $260k and may vary depending on a range of factors. The firm is seeking candidates from other large law firms with "either" technology transactions experience "or" corporate transactional experience, who have an interest in transitioning to a technology transactions practice. This position is hybrid with 3 days/week required in the office.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of technology transactions or corporate transactional experience. Large law firm experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with either/or: [1] technology transactions including IT and business process outsourcing, ERP licensing and implementation, software licensing and SaaS agreements, etc.; or [2] corporate transactional matters such as M&A, corporate finance or IP licensing.
- Strong negotiation skills in complex technology, intellectual property, and data-related commercial contracts preferred.
- Strong understanding of technology, intellectual property, and data privacy laws is preferred.
- An interest in or experience with artificial intelligence and quantum computing is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills; team focused.
- State bar admission within one of the firm's jurisdiction practices.
