Job Description
Patent Litigation - Technology or Life Science Backgrounds
Our client is a major Am law 100 firm, seeking a patent litigation associate with at least 3 years of experience for its Intellectual Property Litigation practice in New York, Boston, Los Angeles, Miami, San Diego, San Francisco, Toronto and Washington, DC. The salary range for this position is between $260k to $390k.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of patent litigation experience in district court and/or before the International Trade Commission.
- Experience in preparation and trial of patent matters, including conducting and defending depositions, and drafting pleadings and motions, Markman hearings, analysis of products and patents, and discovery preparation and management.
- Admitted to practice law in California, Massachusetts, New York or the District of Columbia.
- Technology or life sciences background in electrical engineering, computer science or related -or- biology, immunology, biochemistry or related.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; team focused.
- Strong client-interfacing skills.
