Patent Attorney - Chemistry or Biochemistry - Chicago
Our client is a top firm, seeking an IP chemistry associate for its Life Sciences practice in Chicago.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of patent preparation and prosecution experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or chemical sectors.
- Experience working with academic institutions, startups, and mid-sized companies in the biotech or pharmaceutical space.
- PhD or MS in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related life sciences field.
- Illinois bar license [or ability to become admitted to sit for the IL bar exam].
- USPTO admission is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent client-interfacing skills; team focused.
