Patent Associate Attorney
Job Description
Patent Attorney Mid to Senior Level - Washington, DC, New York and Chicago
Our client is a top firm, seeking a patent attorney with a tech background and 5-10 years of patent prosecution experience. This is a non-partner track position and compensates between $170k to $220k.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of patent prosecution and drafting experience.
- Experience in drafting and prosecuting telecommunications-related patents (e.g., 3G, 4G, 5G, and other standards-related telecom technologies).
- Some experience with patent litigation and PTAB proceedings is preferred.
- At least a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Sciences, or Physics is required [advanced degree is a plus].
- USPTO admission is required.
- Strong academic credentials and excellent writing and analytical skills.
- State bar admission in jurisdiction of practice or eligibility to become admitted.
