Patent Associate or Patent Agent - Chemistry or Molecular Biology - Washington, DC

Our client is a top firm, seeking a Patent Associate or Agent for its growing Intellectual Property practice in the firm's Washington, DC office. The salary range for this role is between $180, to $210k+.

 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of domestic and international patent prosecution and drafting experience relating to therapeutics [pharmaceuticals and biotech].
  • Experience responding to Office Actions, conducting prior art searches, FTO, and patent landscape analyses.
  • Advanced degree in chemistry or related life sciences degree as well as candidates with a background in biology with relevant experience.
  • USPTO admission.
  • Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
