Job Description
Patent Agent - Biology or Chemistry - Washington, DC
Our client is a major Am law firm, seeking experienced Patent Agents or Technical Specialists for its Intellectual Property practice in Washington, DC. The salary range for this position is between $110,000 to $180,000.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of patent preparation and prosecution experience in a law firm
- Experience conducting prior art searches and analyzing patents and scientific literature.
- Ph.D. or M.S. in cellular biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, virology, chemistry, or a related field.
- USPTO registration required.
- Strong technical background in biological or pharmaceutical sciences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong academic credentials.
