Life Sciences Patent Prosecution Attorney - Biology or Chemistry - Washington, DC
Our client is a top Am law firm, seeking a mid to senior level life sciences patent prosecution associate for its Intellectual Property Practice in Washington, DC. Compensation is at top Am law 100 scale.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in U.S. and international life sciences patent prosecution.
- Experience with ]validity analysis, freedom-to-operate, and drafting patent applications.
- Experience drafting and negotiating licensing agreements and corporate deal support is a plus.
- Litigation experience is not required.
- Degree in biology, chemistry or related discipline [advanced degree preferred].
- Industry experience in the pharmaceutical and/or biotech industries strongly preferred.
- District of Columbia bar admission [or ability to become admitted].
