Labor & Employment Attorney - Remote (NY/NJ)
Our client, an Am Law 100 law firm, is seeking an attorney to join its labor and employment team as a non-partnership track salaried attorney. This is a remote role, but candidates must be based in New York or New Jersey. An attorney in this position will be benefits-eligible and will generally have an expected billable hour goal of 1500-1800 hours.
The estimated salary range for this position is $150,000 to $275,000 (annually) and may vary depending on experience and other factors.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of employment litigation and counseling experience
- Capable of running and managing cases, communicating and negotiating with opposing counsel, and arguing motions in court
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
- Comfortable advising clients directly and managing deadlines and case dockets
- Experience with traditional labor law is a plus
- JD from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
- New Jersey bar membership is required
- New York bar membership is preferred but, in any event, required within one year of commencing employment
