Job Description
Intellectual Property Patent Attorney - Chemical Engineering / Materials Science
Our client is an Am law firm, seeking a junior patent associate for its Intellectual Property practice in Chicago, Denver, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Washington D.C. or Wilmington. The position requires 2-3 days/week in office. The salary for this role is between $175k to $255k.
Qualfifications
- 1-3 years of patent prosecution experience in technologies such as filtration, material science, polymer science and medical devices.
- Experience in both chemical and mechanical preparation and prosecution.
- Patent searching and analysis skills a plus.
- Degree in chemical engineering or materials science is required.
- State bar admission in jurisdiction of practice required [or ability to become admitted].
- Team focused; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent academic credentials required.
