In-House Attorney Role at Top 20 AmLaw Firm - New York
Our client, a top 20 AmLaw Firm, is seeking an experienced employment attorney to advise on internal employment law and compliance matters. The candidate will report to the Global Head of the Firm's Labor & Employment Group and support colleagues on employment issues across all offices within the Firm. This is a hybrid role based in the firm’s New York City office.
The estimated salary range for this position is $350,000-$400,00 (annually) and may vary depending on experience and other factors.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience practicing employment law, preferably in an in-house legal department setting
- Experience with international employment laws and advising multistate and multinational employers is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and admission to the NY Bar
