Cyber, Privacy & AI Associate
Our client, an Am Law 200 law firm, is seeking an associate with 4-7 years of experience to join their top ranked global Cyber, Privacy & AI practice group. This position can be based in Boston, Washington DC, or Philadelphia.
The estimated salary for this position is $310,000+ (annually) and may vary depending on experience and other factors.
Qualifications:
- 4-7 years of experience
- Hands on experience advising clients on state and federal privacy laws and conducting deal diligence in Mergers and Acquisition, financings and commercial transactions
- Experience with class action litigation and/or regulatory defense
- Experience with incident response
- Working familiarity with data driven technologies, including AI/ML and biometrics and related global regulatory frameworks
- Familiarity with state privacy laws, HIPAA, SCA, PIPA, CIPA, ECPA, Patriot/Cloud Act, GDPR and GLBA a plus
- Prior experience with data breach response and defense of enforcement actions brought by state attorneys' general, FTC, OCR/HSS, SEC Cybersecurity unit and the EU regulators a plus
- Large law firm experience strongly preferred
- JD from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
- Membership in the state bar for the market where you are applying, or the ability to become barred in that state
