Job Description
Corporate and Securities Attorney - Senior Counsel/Junior Partner
Our client, a well-established mid-size law firm, is seeking a senior counsel/junior partner to join their Corporate and Securities Practice Group in New York City.
The estimated salary range for this position is $200,000 - $250,000 (annually) and may vary depending on experience and other factors.
Qualifications:
- Wide-ranging experience in corporate and securities work
- Substantial exposure to: M&A transactions for both public and private companies; startups; public and private offerings; SEC, FINRA and NASDAQ filings; and the broad range of legal issues faced by middle market companies
- Strong working knowledge of documentation used in public and private equity transactions and bank lending transactions
- Extensive experience in relevant corporate and securities regulations
- Some experience with bankruptcy matters and some tax experience, each a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Portable business a plus, but not a requirement.
- JD from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
- Admitted to the New York State Bar
