Bankruptcy and Restructuring Associate
Our client, an AM Law 200 law firm, is seeking an experienced associate to join its growing Bankruptcy and Restructuring Department. Position can be based in New York City, New Jersey or Connecticut. Ideal candidate will have between 2-8 years experience in a bankruptcy/restructuring practice at a law firm.
Salary range for this position is $225,000 - $425,000. Actual salary will be determined based on a variety of factors.
Qualifications:
- Between 2-8 years experience in a law firm bankruptcy/restructuring practice
- Experience handling substantive court appearances and representing creditors’ committees, indenture trustees, landlords, and trade creditors in bankruptcy matters.
- J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
- Strong analytical abilities
- Excellent client-relations skills
- Ability to work well on a team are required
- Bar admission is required in an attorney’s resident state and/or affiliated office
